4D3N Mount Rinjani Trekking: Explore the Majestic Segara Anak Lake

Day 1: 07:00 – Gather at the meeting point for equipment check and briefing.

  • Embark on a scenic trek through lush forests leading to the first campsite, where you’ll enjoy a warm meal under the stars.

Afternoon:

  • 12:00 – Rest and have lunch on the way.
  • 13:00 – Continue climbing to the first post.

Afternoon:

  • 17:00 – Arrive at the first post, set up the tent, and rest.
  • 19:00 – Dinner preparation, evening briefing, and rest.

Day 2: Heading to Rinjani Peak
Morning:

  • 05:00 – Wake up early, have breakfast, and start climbing to the summit of Rinjani.
  • 06:00 – Climb to the top.

Afternoon:

  • 12:00 – Arrive at the top of Rinjani, take a short break, and enjoy the view.
  • 13:00 – Head back down to the first post.

Afternoon:

  • 17:00 – Arrive back at the first post, rest, and have dinner.
  • 19:00 – Free time to rest and restore energy.

Day 3: Exploration of Lake Segara Anak
Morning:

  • 07:00 – Breakfast and preparation to continue the journey.
  • 08:00 – Descend to Segara Anak Lake.

Afternoon:

  • 12:00 – Arrive at Segara Anak Lake, rest and have lunch by the lake.
  • 13:00 – Explore around the lake, swim, or rest.

Afternoon:

  • 17:00 – Return to the climbing post before sunset.
  • 19:00 – Rest, dinner and sleep.

Day 4: Drop off and Return to Downtown
Morning:

  • 07:00 – Wake up early, have breakfast, and prepare for descent.
  • 08:00 – Start the descent back to the starting point of the climb.

Afternoon:

  • 12:00 – Rest and have lunch on the way down.
  • 13:00 – Continue descent.

Afternoon:

  • 17:00 – Arrive at the end point of the climb, check equipment, and close the climb.
  • 18:00 – Return to the city center or respective places.

Segara Anak, meaning ‘Child of the Sea’, is a crater lake formed after the 1257 eruption of Mount Samalas. The lake sits at 2,004 meters above sea level and is home to the active volcano, Mount Barujari.

Visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake or relax in the nearby natural hot springs, believed to have healing properties
